I am a 3rd-year PhD Candidate in the Information School at the University of Washington, advised by Prof. Alexis Hiniker.
My research lies in human-computer interaction (HCI) and human-centered AI. I am interested in:
- Leveraging multimodal LLMs and GUI agents for user interface understanding and optimization, with applications in digital well-being, countering deceptive design, and usability evaluation and improvement
- Evaluating and building more trustworthy, human-centered GUI agents that navigate digital environments
Previously, I received my BS in Computer Sciences and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where I worked with Prof. Jacob Thebault-Spieker on social computing. I also worked on the EduSense project through the REUSE program at Carnegie Mellon University.
